On cars with automatic transmission, a drive disk is installed instead of a flywheel. The procedure for removing and installing the drive disk is the same as for the flywheel.
Execution order
1. Mark the relative positions of the flywheel and crankshaft.
2. Loosen the flywheel mounting bolts evenly by 1–2 turns.
3. Gradually and evenly unscrew the flywheel mounting bolts and remove the flywheel 7.
4. Install the flywheel (drive disk) in reverse order. Apply sealant to the threads of the flywheel mounting bolts before installation. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 100 N·m (10 kgf·m). If the drive disk was replaced with a new one, check and, if necessary, adjust its position. The distance from the rear wall of the cylinder block to the mounting surface of the transformer on the drive disk should be 17.2–18.8 mm. You can adjust the position of the drive disk by installing a gasket between it and the crankshaft.
