Despite having multiple airbags and safety electronics such as ESP, the Q7 only received four out of five stars in Euro NCAP's adult occupant protection tests. Audi says this was due to a design error, which was then corrected in cars built after the test, which is supposed to have resulted in five stars. The 2015 Q7 has a rollover risk of 18.5%. See the table for the 2015 car's test results.
