Withdrawal
1. On manual transmission models, remove the transmission and clutch.
2. On automatic transmission models, remove the transmission.
3. Unscrew the flywheel bolts, after locking it.
4. Remove flywheel.
Examination
1. Check the flywheel for wear and damage. If you find any, contact a specialist.
2. If you install a new flywheel, it only has a mark for setting the N1 piston to TDC. You will need to put a mark on it to set the ignition timing (a = 14.6 mm).
3. Inspect the crankshaft needle bearing.
Installation
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
1. Apply sealant to the flywheel bolts.
2. Install the drive (a = 27 mm±1 mm).
3. Tighten the flywheel bolts.
