The gearbox is fixed at the rear of the engine and has five forward gears and one reverse gear, a synchronization mechanism is installed in all forward and reverse gears. In the 012 gearbox, the gear lever is connected to the gearbox by one shift rod, and in the 01E gearbox by two shift rods.
