Order of execution
1. Remove cylinder head (cm. pp. 1–12 of subsection 3.2.2).
2. Remove bolt 12 (see fig. Cylinder head, camshaft and valves) and remove the gear wheel 11 from the camshaft 18. Remove the key 14.
3. Loosen one of the No. 2 bearing cap nuts counting from the camshaft drive two turns, then loosen the No. 4 bearing nut diagonally opposite by two turns. Loosen the other nut of bearing #2 and bearing #4 two turns. Loosen the nuts in the order shown until they are completely loose.
4. Loosen bearing nuts No. 1 and 3 in the same way.
5. Remove covers 15 bearings.
6. Remove camshaft 18
7. Remove seal 13.
8. Remove the pushers 19 valves, having previously marked them with the valve number. If the valve actuator is fitted with shims, each shim must be stored with its own tappet. Hydraulic pushers are stored upside down.
9. Inspection and troubleshooting of the camshaft and hydraulic pushers is carried out in the same way as on a four-cylinder engine (cm. subsection 3.1.2.3, subsection 3.1.2.4).
