Order of execution
1. Remove the camshaft drive belt and vibration damper with crankshaft gear (cm. pp. 2–5 of subsection 3.2.2.7).
2. Remove oil pan (cm. subsection 3.1.2.13).
3. Remove gear wheel 6 of the camshaft (see fig. Flywheel, crankshaft, oil pump), by unscrewing its mounting bolt.
4. Remove the rear cover 7 of the camshaft drive (see fig. Camshaft Drive Parts), by unscrewing the bolts of its fastening.
5. After bending the ends of the lock washers, unscrew the two bolts securing the oil pump receiver to the block.
6. After bending the ends of the lock washers, unscrew the two bolts securing the receiver to the oil pump. Remove receiver 12 and gasket 13 (see fig. Flywheel, crankshaft, oil pump).
7. Loosen the oil pump mounting bolts. Remove pump 1 and gasket 2.
8. Loosen the screws securing the pump cover and remove the cover.
9. Unscrew the pressure reducing valve.
10. Clean the pump parts from dirt and wash in gasoline. Inspect pump parts. If the cover shows signs of wear, it must be replaced. Pump gears can only be replaced with new ones in pairs. Replace gasket 2 of the pump and gasket 13 of the receiver, front oil seal 16 of the crankshaft.
11. Assemble and install the oil pump in reverse order. Lubricate the oil seal with engine oil before pressing. If a recess has formed on the crankshaft in the place where the oil seal worked, it is necessary to press the oil seal deeper so that the working edge of the oil seal works along the crankshaft behind the recess. Replace the lock washers on the pump and receiver mounting bolts. There is a triangular mark on the pump gears, it should be directed towards the pump cover. Tighten the pump mounting bolts to the torque: short bolts and stand - 10 Nm (1.0 kgf·m); long bolts - 20 Nm (2.0 kgf·m). Tighten the receiver mounting bolts to a torque of 10 Nm (1.0 kgf·m).
