If the fuel pump is not working, check the fuel pump relay. This relay is located in slot 1 of the relay panel behind the storage box on the driver's side.
Fuel pump relay in slot 1
1. Pull out the fuel pump fuse (S228) from slot 28. This fuse is located in the fuse box on the left side of the dashboard.
2. Connect an LED voltage probe between the housing and one of the two fuse contacts.
3. Operate the starter. You should be able to hear the relay actuate. In addition, the probe LED should light up.
4. If the LED does not light, although the relay core retracts, repeat the test with another fuse contact.
5. If the LED is still off, check the wiring diagram. Repair broken wire if necessary.
6. If the wires and power are OK, replace the relay.
