2. Disconnect the high tension wiring from the ignition coil and ground it.
3. Block the front wheels, then jack up the rear of the car and support it on axle stands (photo).

4. Turn on the starter briefly and check if the fuel pump is working. On models with RM and ZA engines, it will work as soon as the ignition is turned on.
5. If the fuel pump does not work, remove the fuel pump relay from the relay box and connect a wire from the positive battery terminal to the relay terminal 52 in the relay box. If the pump works, the relay is faulty. If not, check the wiring to the fuel pump.
6. Note that if the pump is running but the fuel supply is insufficient, the filter may be clogged.
7. Before removing the fuel pump, disconnect the negative battery cable.
8. Unscrew the nuts (where are they used) and disconnect the electrical wiring from the pump (photo).

9. Unscrew the clamp and fuel supply hose.
10. Place a container under the pump, then disconnect the hose and connection (photo). Cap both hoses.

11. Unscrew the nut and loosen the mounting clamp. Remove the pump.
12. If necessary, remove the mounting clamp from the pump.
13. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but make sure that the protrusion coincides with the recess in the clamp.
