2. For carbureted models, remove the air filter as described in Chapter 4.
3. Disconnect the cable from the accelerator pedal lever.
4. In the engine compartment, remove the brackets, then disconnect the inner cable from the sector on the carburetor and throttle body (photo).
5. Release the end of the cable from the suspension (photo).
6. Disconnect a cable from a partition and get it from a motor compartment.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but make sure that the cable is not twisted.
8. Cable adjustment on automatic transmission models is described in Section 7. On manual transmission models, the clip must be installed in the bezel so that the throttle is fully open when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed. With the pedal fully released, the internal clearance of the cable must not exceed 1.0 mm. On models with a speed control system, with the throttle in the idle position, adjust the control mechanism so that the gap between the bushing and the limiter plate is 0.1-0.3 mm.
