Removal and installation
1. First lift the front of the car and support it on axle stands.
2. Disconnect the ends of the cable from the throttle control pedal and the transmission downshift lever.
3. Turn off a nut, remove a covering and a returnable spring from an axis of the case of a throttle.
4. Disconnect the cable and center stop from the throttle pulley.
5. Remove the brackets, disconnect the cable covers from the hangers.
6. Get a cable through a partition, take it from a motor compartment.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Adjust the cable as follows.
Adjustment
8. The adjustment will require the assistance of another person.
9. Place a 17 mm spacer under the pedal at the fuel feed control, lock the pedal against the spacer.
10. Loosen the cable fixing nuts, remove the adjustment bracket.
11. Clamp the throttle pulley in the open position. Now move the pedal cable cover towards the pedal so that there is no gap, install the adjustment bracket next to the suspension.
12. Pull the transmission cable housing toward the transmission until you feel lowering pressure, then tighten the mounting nuts.
13. Check that when the pedal is released, the throttle lever touches the idle speed limiter. Depress pedal to wide open throttle position (no kickdown) and check that the throttle lever touches the wide open throttle stop. Depress the pedal to the downshift position and check that the transmission downshift lever rests against the downstop, with the throttle spring under tension.
