Starting the engine with another battery
Bring the car with the charged battery close enough to allow easy access to the jumper cable to connect its battery to the dead battery.
Check that all power consumers in your de-energized vehicle are disconnected.
The first wire should connect the positive terminals of both batteries.
In vehicles with a battery under the rear seat: connect the positive wire to the "+" terminal on the right rear of the engine compartment.
The other wire is first connected to the negative terminal of a charged auxiliary battery, and then in the engine compartment of a de-energized vehicle to the bare body (for example, directly to the engine).
Start the engine of the auxiliary vehicle and make it run at high speed so that the generator produces increased voltage.
If the engine does not start immediately, you should take a break to cool the starter. The auxiliary engine should be left running, which will allow the discharged battery to charge a little.
When disconnecting the auxiliary wires, first disconnect the terminal from the negative terminal of the charged auxiliary battery.
Left: In cars with a dust filter or air conditioning, the battery is located on the right under the rear seat. First, disconnect the negative terminal (1) and only then the positive (3). Remove the screw of the mounting plate (2). Do not forget to disconnect the gas outlet hose.
Right: To avoid removing the rear seat, there is a "positive terminal" in the engine compartment on the right rear. After folding down a small protection, you can connect a wire from the auxiliary battery (+) to it. The second auxiliary wire (-) is connected to the bare metal of the engine block or a bolt.
