- make sure both batteries are 12V and have approximately the same capacity;
- using wires of a sufficiently large cross-section with crocodile clips on the ends, connect the "+" terminal of the discharged battery with one wire to the plus of the external battery, and the "-" terminal of the external battery with another wire to the ground of the engine being started;
- start the engine of the "donor" car;
- after this, proceed to start the engine of the car with a discharged battery;
- after starting the engine, disconnect the wires in the exact reverse order of connection.
