Note: Due to the complexity of the automatic transmission, it is recommended to carry out diagnostics and repairs at a specialized station.
The most common areas of leakage are:
- a) Oil collector (Section 7).
- b) Level measuring probe tube (Section 7).
- c) Transmission connecting pipes (Section 7).
Transmission fluid is brown or has a burning smell
- Low fluid level or fluid replacement required.
Malfunctions due to incorrectly adjusted cable:
- a) Starting the engine outside the P or N position.
- b) Incorrect indicator reading on the program selection panel.
- c) The vehicle starts moving in position P or N.
- d) Erratic gear shifting.
Contact Section 7 for the procedure of adjusting the cable of the selector.
Transmission does not downshift when accelerator pedal is released
- Low transmission fluid level.
- Incorrect adjustment of the selector cable (Section 7).
The engine starts in any gear selector position other than P or N
