Starter interlock — removal, installation and adjustment (Audi 100 C3)

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Guided by Section 11, remove the central console.

3. Disconnect the wiring from the starter interlock, then remove the screws and take out the switch.

4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. But before adjusting the control panel, check that the engine can be started with the selector lever in the N (Neutral) or P (Park) positions. If necessary, adjust the position of the switch again within the elongated screw holes.
