Set the brushes to their original position by turning on the wiper and turning off the ignition.
Remove both wiper arms as described above.
Remove the left side of the black plastic cover under the front glass. The lid is secured with a swivel. To do this, insert a suitable coin into the slot and turn the holder to the left. In addition, the lid is attached with two tin clips at the bottom, which also need to be removed.
Remove the cover of the electronic unit, find the two nuts securing the unit, unscrew them, remove the unit from the mounts and move it to the side to get better access to the wiper mechanism.
Unscrew the two bolts on the top side of the mechanism and another bolt next to the wiper motor and carefully remove the mechanism from the motor.
Remove the multi-pin plug from the motor.
Use a screwdriver to pry off the wiper rods at the junction with the lever axles using a screwdriver.
Remove the three wiper motor bolts. Rotate the crank appropriately to gain access to all bolts. The engine is now free. If the engine is being replaced, the crank arm must be removed from the engine.
When installing, pay attention to the correct position of the crank lever, because. it must be directed forward before installing the engine. To do this, install the multi-pin plug and switch on the ignition. Let the engine run for a while and turn off the ignition. When it stops, the crank arm will snap into position.
Install and fix the motor back into the mounting frame and press the mechanism (lubricate with graphite ball grease if possible). When connecting the mechanism, pay attention to the following: the rod to the axis of the left lever is under the crank lever, the rod to the axis of the right lever is above the crank lever.
Attach crank arm. It stands correctly when positioned in the same plane as the bars on the right side.
Now set the frame (mechanism) together with the engine in the reverse order of removal. Finally, turn on the wiper and check that the levers stop in the correct position.
