2. Mark the position of the shift rod in the clamp, also draw a horizontal line on the offset pin and shift rod so that they can be connected without adjustment.
3. Loosen the bolt on the clamp, separate the gear shift rod from the shift pin.
4. Remove the central console in the passenger compartment, unscrew the four nuts and gaskets securing the lever housing to the floor, remove the gearshift lever assembly and gear shift rod.
5. To separate the gear shift rod from the gear shift lever, loosen and remove the gear shift rod bolt.
6. Install the lever in the reverse order, the basic adjustment of the traction is checked in 1st gear. Then move the shift lever to the left as far as possible, clamp the lever with one finger and let it slowly spring back. The lever button should move 5-10 mm. If the movement is insufficient, loosen the lever bearing mounting bolts, move the bearing to the right to reduce the lever movement, or to the left to increase the movement, then tighten the nuts.
