Table of contents: Gear Bearing - Replacement ↓ Mechanism locks - removal and… ↓
The procedure is identical to that given for the 014 gearbox, see. Chapter 8 with the following exceptions.
Gear Bearing - Replacement
1. Unscrew the four bolts, remove the retaining ring of the outer bearing ring, noting the location of the fasteners (photo).

2. Knock out the outer ring from the bearing housing, remove the gasket.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, but before this it is necessary to determine the correct thickness of the gasket behind the ring.
Mechanism locks - removal and installation
4. Before removing the rear gear shift lever, unscrew and remove the retainer from the bearing housing side. The rear gear shift lever is controlled by a pin in the 5/rear gear shift rod (photo).

5. All fasteners are removed by drilling 6 mm holes and screwing in bolts to pull them out (photo).

Gear Shift Rod Bushing - Removal
6. The bushing can be removed and installed with a soft metal drift.
Input shaft bearing - replacement
7. Remove the retaining ring, push the bearing into the bearing housing.
8. Before installing a new bearing, first install the retaining ring, then use a metal pipe to push the bearing into the fastener until it touches the retaining ring.
