Gearbox/Final Drive Housing (013 & 093) — Service (Audi 100 C3)

The procedure is similar to that described for the 014 gearbox with the following exceptions:

• a) The outer race of the output shaft bearing on the 093 gearbox is secured with a socket head bolt that must be removed with a socket wrench.
• b) On the 093 gearbox there is no input shaft sleeve.
