Selector seal - replacement
1. Remove the seal with a screwdriver (photo).

2. Insert the new oil seal.
3. Fill the space between the seal projections with universal grease.
Selector bushing - replacement
4. Remove the seal and use a metal pipe to drive the bushing into the shift housing.
5. Insert the new bushing into the casing in the same direction, install the new oil seal.
Input shaft bearing - removal and installation
6. Remove the baffle plate from the shift housing. The plate is forged, so you may need to use a round file to remove the serrations.
7. Remove the retaining ring and, using a soft metal drift, tap the bearing into the housing (photo).

8. Insert the new bearing into the housing, install the retaining ring.

9. Secure the partition in place in the casing (photo).
