Petrol engine, maximum up to 30,000 km or 2 years.

4-cylinder diesel engine, maximum 50,000 km or 2 years.

6-cylinder diesel engine, maximum 35,000 km or 2 years.

The driver is notified of the expected service date 2,000 km or 1 month in advance.

"Service in 2,000 km" is displayed after each ignition switch-on. The remaining mileage in hundreds of kilometers before the service is indicated. The remaining mileage can be called up on the indicator by pressing button 1 (Fig. 1.1). When the service is due, the message "SERVISE!" appears on the indicator. In this case, it is necessary to carry out maintenance immediately.

Attention

If the cars have the system "Longlife-Service" as part of maintenance/repairs, the engine oil Longlife VW/AUDI standards were not filled, the Service indicator must be set to strict service intervals. Further maintenance is carried out in the same way as for cars without "Longlife-Service", that is, after 15,000 km or 12 months.

To maintain the Longlife Service, the service interval indicator must be set using the VW/AUDI diagnostic tool at a service station. Otherwise, the Service indicator is set to the strict service intervals.
