When changing oil, do not replace one type of oil with another, as this will negatively affect the durability of the engine. Motor oils of different brands should not be mixed if possible. Motor oils of the same type and brand, but of different viscosity, can be added to the engine if necessary.
Necessary wearing parts and materials
- After draining the oil, a new sealing ring must be used when installing the drain plug (copper or aluminum), which can be supplied with an oil filter.
- Oil filter. The 2.5-I-TDI engine requires a filter element and two sealing rings for the oil filter cover.
- Depending on the engine, from 3.5 to 7.0 liters of engine oil.
