1. A dirty air cleaner element will cause loss of power and increased fuel consumption, therefore it should always be replaced at the specified intervals. If the vehicle is operated in dusty conditions, replace the element more often.

2. Unfasten the spring clips on the air filter cover. Unscrew the single screw and remove the cover from the air filter housing (photo).

3. Remove the air filter element.



4. Wipe the air filter housing and cover.

5. Place the new element in the housing, then install the cover. Insert and tighten the single screw, snap the spring clips.

7. Unscrew the screw and remove the side cover (photo).

9. Remove the air filter element from the main body.

10. Wipe the inside of the air filter housing and cover.

11. Place the new element in the housing, then install the cover, snap the spring clips.



12 Install the side cover, inlet hose and inlet cover.
