Removal is described using the example of a 1.8 l/125 hp engine. For other engines, the procedure must be similar.

1. Remove screws –4–.

2. Loosen clamp "1" and remove the clean air hose from the filter box.

3. Disconnect connector –2– at the air mass meter.

4. Unscrew screws "3". Lift the cover and remove the filter element.

Installation



5. Wipe the filter housing with a cloth.

6. Insert a new filter element into the housing.

7. Place the cover on top and secure with screws.

8. Place the clean air hose onto the filter box and secure with a clamp.

9. Connect the air mass meter connector. The stopper should lock into place.

10. Screw in screws –4–.
