Warning: The noise that occurs when winding the belt is normal. Under no circumstances should oil or grease be used to remove it. The belt rewinder and tensioner must not be dismantled for safety reasons.
Order of execution
1. Fully extend the seat belt and check the webbing for broken threads.
2. Damage can be the result of, for example, a pinched belt or exposure to a burning cigarette. In this case, the belt must be replaced.
3. If there is abrasion without signs of damage to the threads, it is not necessary to replace the belt.
4. A belt that is hard running should be checked for twisting. If necessary, remove trim on B-pillar.
5. If the rewinder does not work, the belt must be replaced (service station work).
6. The belt webbing can only be cleaned with soap and water. Under no circumstances should solvents or chemical cleaners be used for this.
