Withdrawal
Cars with a gasoline engine
1. Remove air filter cover 1 (see illustration).
8.1. Remove air filter cover 1
2. Remove air duct 2 (see illustration 8.1).
3. Disconnect plugs 4 of the mass air flow sensor (see illustration).
8.3. Disconnect plugs 4 of the mass air flow sensor
4. Vehicles with AJK, ARE, AZA engines. Disconnect the remaining plugs of 4 ignition coils (see illustration 8.3).
5. Cut the clamp 5, release the wiring harness from the holder 2 and move them away from the work area (see illustration 8.3).
6. Release the fuel lines from the holders 3, remove the clamp (see arrow in illustration 8.3), press the tabs 1 and remove the air filter cover.
7. Replace the old air filter element with a new one.
Diesel vehicles
8. Remove the cover 2 of the air filter, disconnect the air duct 1 (see illustration).
8.8. Remove the cover 2 of the air filter, disconnect the air duct 1
9. Remove the clamp 3, then disconnect the plug 4 of the mass air flow sensor (see illustration).
8.9. Remove the clamp 3, then disconnect the plug 4 of the mass air flow sensor
10. Disconnect the hose 2 of the air filter housing, wring out the four clamps 1 and remove the air filter cover (see illustration 8.9).
11. Replace the old air filter element with a new one.
Further, the installation of the dismantled components is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
