Removal
Cars with gasoline engines
1. Remove the air filter cover 1 (see illustration).
8.1 Remove the air filter cover 1
2. Remove the air duct 2 (see illustration 8.1).
3. Disconnect the 4 mass air flow sensor connectors (see illustration).
8.3. Disconnect the 4 mass air flow sensor connectors
4. Cars with AJK, ARE, AZA engines. Disconnect the remaining plugs of the 4 ignition coils (see illustration 8.3).
5. Cut clamp 5, release the wire harness from holder 2 and move them away from the work area (see illustration 8.3).
6. Release the fuel lines from the holders 3, remove the clamp (see arrow in illustration 8.3), press the fasteners 1 and remove the air filter cover.
7. Replace the old air filter element with a new one.
Diesel Engine Cars
8. Remove cover 2 of the air filter, disconnect the air duct 1 (see illustration).

9. Remove clamp 3, then disconnect plug 4 of the mass air flow sensor (see illustration).
8.9. Remove clamp 3, then disconnect plug 4 of the mass air flow sensor
10. Disconnect the air filter housing hose 2, press the four clamps 1 and remove the air filter cover (see illustration 8.9).
11. Replace the old air filter element with a new one.
Next, the installation of the dismantled components is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
