Execution order
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the air filter (see subsection 6.1.2).
3. Loosen the upper bolts securing the gearbox to the engine.
4. Disconnect the speedometer drive cable from the gearbox.
5. Knock out the clutch slave cylinder mounting pin from the clutch housing.
6. Remove the clutch slave cylinder and set it aside without disconnecting the hose from it.
7. Raise the power unit slightly with a hoist or winch.
8. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold and gearbox bracket.
9. Remove the heat-insulating shield of the inner CV joint boot of the right axle shaft.
10. Loosen the mounting bolts and disconnect the front wheel drives from the axle shaft flanges.
11. Disconnect the electrical wires from the gearbox.
12. Remove the tie rod from the two ball joints.
13. Disconnect the gear shift rod from the ball joint of the lever on the gearbox.
14. Remove the spring clip and disconnect the torque rod from the pin on the gearbox.
15. Loosen the lower clutch housing mounting bolts and remove the clutch housing shield.
16. Remove the heat-insulating shields from the front suspension beam.
17. Raise the gearbox a little.
18. Loosen the nuts of the bolts securing the gearbox brackets to the front suspension beam.
19. Loosen the mounting nut and remove the right gearbox bracket.
20. Carefully move the gearbox back, disengaging its primary shaft from the clutch. Then lower the gearbox and remove it from under the car.
21. Install the gearbox in the reverse order. Before installation, clean and lubricate the splines of the primary shaft with graphite grease, and also place the inner ends of the axle shafts on the front suspension beam.
