Order of execution
1. Using a special tool, compress the valve springs and remove the crackers 15 (see fig. Cylinder head, camshaft and valves) from the valve stem.
2. Loosen the pressure on the tool lever to release the valve springs. Remove fixture. Remove spring plate 6, remove outer 5 and inner 4 valve springs.
3. Remove valve 2 from the guide sleeve on the combustion chamber side.
4. Remove the valve stem seals and spring washer.
5. Remove the remaining valves in the same order.
6. Clean the head and valve stem from carbon deposits.
7. Install valves in reverse order. Replace valve stem seals regardless of their condition. Lubricate valve stems and guide bushings with engine oil prior to installation. Plastic bushings can be put on the valve stem so as not to damage the valve stem seal when installing the valve. With the valve cotters in place, remove the spring compressor and tap the end of the valve stem with a soft-headed hammer to ensure that the cotters are seated correctly. For engines of models DR and DS manufactured before September 1985, after installing the valves, check and, if necessary, adjust the clearances between the camshaft lobes and valve lifters (cm. subsection 3.1.2.8).
