Execution order
1. Using a special tool, compress the valve springs and remove crackers 15 (see Fig. Cylinder head, camshaft and valves) from the valve stem.
2. By releasing the pressure on the lever of the device, release the valve springs. Remove the device. Remove the plate 6 of the spring, take out the outer 5 and inner 4 valve springs.
3. Remove valve 2 from the guide sleeve on the combustion chamber side.
4. Remove the oil seals and spring support washer.
5. Remove the remaining valves in the same order.
6. Clean the valve head and stem from carbon deposits.
7. Install the valves in the reverse order. Replace the valve stem seals regardless of their condition. Before installing, lubricate the valve stems and guide bushings with engine oil. Plastic bushings can be placed on the valve stem to avoid damaging the valve stem seal when installing the valve. After installing the valve keepers, remove the spring compressor and hit the end of the valve stem with a soft-headed hammer to ensure that the keepers are correctly installed. For DR and DS engines manufactured before September 1985, after installing the valves, check and, if necessary, adjust the clearances between the camshaft lobes and valve tappets (see subsection 3.1.2.8).
