Execution order
1. Check the installation of the parking brake lever, which should be in the extreme lower position. Raise and place the rear of the car on a support.

3. Press and release the brake pedal sharply once and lift the parking brake lever three clicks.
4. Tighten the equalizer adjusting nut until the rear wheels can still be turned by hand.
5. Set the parking brake lever to the lowest position. The rear wheels should rotate freely.
Models with rear disc brakes.
Execution order
1. Press the brake pedal several times.
2. Install support blocks under the front wheels.
3. Raise and support the rear of the vehicle.
4. Check the installation of the parking brake lever, which should be in the extreme lower position.

5. Tighten the equalizer adjusting nut until both levers (1) begin to move away from the stops (2).
6. Loosen the adjusting nut two turns.

7. Check whether the cables are overtightened. To do this, use a screwdriver (1) to press one lever (2) until it stops. If the second lever moves away from the stop, the cables are overtightened. Loosen the adjusting nut so that the opposite lever does not move away from the stop.
8. Check the operation of the parking brake. When the parking brake lever is in the lowest position, the rear wheels should rotate freely.
