3. Once sharply depress and release the brake pedal and raise the parking brake lever three clicks.

Models with rear disc brakes.
Order of execution
1. Press the brake pedal several times.
2. Install support blocks under the front wheels.
3. Raise and support the rear of the vehicle.
4. Check the installation of the parking brake lever, which must be in the lowest position.
5. Tighten the equalizer adjusting nut until both levers (1) will start to move away from the stops (2).
6. Loosen the adjusting nut two turns.
7. Check if the cables are overstretched. To do this, use a screwdriver to pry (1) one lever (2) all the way. If at the same time the second lever moved away from the stop, then the cables are overtightened. Loosen the adjusting nut so that the opposite lever does not move away from the stop.
8. Check the operation of the parking brake. With the parking brake lever fully down, the rear wheels should turn freely.
