2. Check the thickness of the brake disc pads by looking through the groove in front of the caliper body. If the shim thickness on any of the pads is equal to or less than the minimum specified thickness, all four pads must be replaced.

3. Disconnect the pad wear indicator harness connector and, using a suitable wrench, unscrew the bottom guide pin bolt.
4. Turn the caliper body up, remove the two brake disc pads, remove the heat-resistant piston shield. If the pads must be installed again, mark them so that they can be installed in their original positions.
5. Clean dust and dirt from caliper, piston, disc and pads.
6. Rotate the brake disc by hand to remove rust and deposits. Carefully inspect the entire surface of the disc and if there are deep cracks or heavy wear, the disc should be replaced. Also inspect the caliper for fluid leaks around the piston, corrosion, or other damage. Replace piston seals or caliper body as needed.
7. If new pads are being installed, first push the piston back into the bore using a G-clamp or a suitable block as a lever. When performing this action, make sure that the brake fluid does not overflow from the reservoir, if necessary, drain some of the fluid.
8. Place a new heat shield on the piston, then place the pads in their original positions against the disc.
9. Put the caliper body on the pads and install a new guide pin bolt, tightening it with the tightening torque indicated in Specifications.
10. Connect the pad wear indicator wires, install the wheels and lower the vehicle.
11. Press a brake pedal several times that the piston rested against blocks, then check up and if it is necessary, add a liquid in the reservoir of the main cylinder.

12. Disconnect the wiring harness connector of the pad wear indicator, remove the plastic covers of the guide bolts (photo).
13. Unscrew the upper and lower guide bolts, lift the caliper body (photo). Secure the caliper using twine or wire. Don't let it hang unsupported.
14. Remove the two brake disc pads from the fastener hanger (photo). If the pads are to be used again, mark them so that they can be installed in their original positions.
15. See points 5, 6 and 7 before installing the pads.
16. Place pads in position on fastener hanger, install caliper body.
17. Insert the guide bolts, tighten them with the tightening torque indicated in Specifications.
18. Install guide bolt covers, connect wear indicator wiring.
19. Install the wheels and lower the vehicle.
20. Depress the brake pedal several times until the piston rests against the pads, then check and, if necessary, add fluid to the master cylinder reservoir.
