1. Jack up the front of the car and support it on axle stands. Remove the corresponding front wheel.
2. Rotate the disk to examine the state of its surface. Slight scuffing is acceptable, but if excessive, the disc must be removed and replaced or reground. Check the disc thickness with a micrometer at several points.
3. To remove the disc, unscrew the two bolts securing the brake caliper fastener hanger to the suspension strut. Remove the caliper assembly with pads and move it to the side. Do not bend brake lines.
4. Remove the disc from the hub flange.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Check that the mating surfaces of the disc and the bushing flange are clean and tighten all mounting bolts with the specified tightening torque specification.
