Removal and installation the front brake disc of the Girling brand (Audi 80 B2)

Raise the front of the car and remove the wheel.

On vehicles with ATE brand brake mechanisms, unscrew the bolts securing the caliper to the steering knuckle, hang the caliper to the body on a technological hook without disconnecting the brake hose.

On vehicles with Girling brake mechanisms, unscrew the bolts securing the shoe guide to the steering knuckle, hang the caliper assembly with the shoe guide on a technological hook under the wing without disconnecting the brake hose.

Remove the brake disc.

The brake disc is installed in the reverse order of removal.

Note: Replace brake discs in pairs only.
