Inspection
1. Remove the front wheel. Remove the brake pads if necessary.
2. Tighten a few wheel bolts to secure the brake disc. Rotate the disc and inspect for deep scratches, grooves, or rust. Have the disc repaired if necessary.

3. Using a dial gauge or flat block and feeler gauge, check the disc runout. If the runout is excessive, replace the brake disc.
4. Inspect the brake disc for cracks.
Removal
1. Remove the brake caliper.

2. Loosen the wheel mounting bolts and remove the disc.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
