Inspection
1. Remove the front wheel. Remove brake pads if necessary.
2. Tighten a few wheel bolts to secure the brake disc. While rotating the disc, inspect it for deep scratches, grooves, or rust. Have the disc repaired if necessary.
3. Using a dial gauge or flat block and a set of feeler gauges, check for disc runout. If the runout is too large, replace the brake disc.
4. Inspect the brake disc for cracks.
Withdrawal
1. Remove the brake caliper.
2. Loosen the wheel bolts and remove the disc.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
