Although the gearbox is filled with oil for a long service life, leaks may still occur, which can be determined by the oiling of the outer part of the gearbox housing. In this case, you need to check the oil level.
Raise and support the vehicle. It must be level to obtain correct test results.
Unscrew the filler plug on the right side of the gearbox with a hex key. The plug is located next to the drive shaft. If oil starts to flow out immediately after unscrewing, then its level is normal; if not, add oil. In this case, pay attention to the following;
Only synthetic oil SAE70W90 can be added to the gearbox. Filling with a funnel and hose takes a lot of time. It would be better to use a special bottle for filling with a hose or a plastic bottle with a stopper with an adapter for the hose. Pour oil into the bottle and, pressing on the bottle, fill the gearbox with oil.
If you need to change the oil in the gearbox, use the drain plug at the bottom of the gearbox, which also needs to be unscrewed with a hex key. The gearbox should be warm so that the oil flows out faster. Fill the oil through the oil level control hole until the required level is reached. Tighten the plugs with a torque of 30 Nm, cleaning them well before installation.
