Checking the oil level in the gearbox (Audi A2)

Place the car on a lift or in a pit so that it stands horizontally. Remove the sound insulation. Place a device for filling and pumping out oil under the gearbox "V.A.G 1782".



Unscrew the threaded plug "arrow" on the side of the gearbox housing. The transmission oil should reach the lower edge of the inspection/filler hole. If the oil level is below the inspection hole, add oil until it starts to flow out of the hole. Tighten the threaded plug of the inspection and filler hole together with a new sealing ring. Install noise insulation.
