Start the engine and let it idle for 2 minutes. The front wheels should be in the middle position.
Stop the engine and immediately check the oil level in the expansion tank. The oil level should be between the MIN and MAX marks.
If the oil level has dropped to the MIN mark, add VAG G002000 oil to the MAX mark. Be sure to add only new oil, as even the slightest contamination can cause problems in the hydraulic system.
Finally, with the engine running, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times, this will remove air from the system.
If oil was added, check the steering system for leaks.
