The brake fluid reservoir is located in the engine compartment. It has two chambers, each for one circuit. The screw plug has a ventilation hole that must not be closed.
The tank is transparent, which provides visual control of the liquid level.
The liquid level with the lid closed should not lie above the MAX mark or below the MIN·mark.
Fill only with FMVSS 116 DOT 4 specification fluid.
Due to the wear of the disc brakes, the fluid level drops. This is fine.
If, on the contrary, the level has dropped significantly in a short period of time, this is a sign of fluid loss.
Leaks should be found immediately. As a rule, these are worn cuffs of wheel brake cylinders.
