Air Conditioner Control Panel

Air Conditioner Control Panel

  • 1 - control handle for distribution flaps;
  • 2 - temperature control knob;
  • 3 - Fan motor switch handle;
  • 4 - air circulation mode switch button;
  • 5 - air conditioner switch button

The car has a ventilation system that works effectively with the windows closed. Its special feature is the ability to direct air flows with different temperatures to different areas of the cabin. It is also possible to simultaneously supply cold air to the upper part of the cabin and hot air to the lower part.

Interior ventilation

To ventilate the passenger compartment, open the air blower flaps on the instrument panel.

Set the handle of switch 1 to position .

Blowing misted glass

Set the knob 1 of the switch to position .

Set the switch handle 3 to position II or III.

In cold weather, turn on the heating with the 2nd switch handle for faster glass cleaning.

Interior heating mode

Open all air vents.

Turn the switch handle 2 fully clockwise to turn on maximum heating.

Set the handle of switch 1 to position .

Set switch handle 3 to position III.

After warming up the interior, use switch 2 to set the required temperature.

Air conditioner

The air conditioner switches on when the ambient temperature is above +5°C. When the air conditioner is running, at least one air blower must always be open, otherwise the air conditioner may become covered with ice.

Interior cooling mode

Close all windows.

Open all air vents.

Turn on the air conditioner by pressing button 5 on the switch (at the same time, the light in the switch button lights up).

To cool the interior more quickly, press button 4 of the switch (at the same time, the light in the switch button lights up). In this case, air intake into the air conditioner will occur from the passenger compartment.

Set the required temperature with switch handle 2. For faster air cooling, turn switch handle 2 fully counterclockwise.

Set switch handle 3 to position I, II or III. For faster air cooling, set switch handle 3 to position III.

Set the handle of switch 1 to position .

Air conditioner with automatic maintenance of the set temperature

The air conditioner maintains a constant temperature within the range of +18 to +29°C. If the temperature is set outside these limits, the air conditioner operates continuously, respectively, for cooling or heating.

If, when the ignition is turned on, the control lamp to the left of the OUTSIDE TEMP button (see Fig. Air Conditioner Control Panel) flashes for 1 minute, this indicates a malfunction of the air conditioner.

At low ambient temperatures, the air conditioner fan turns on only after the engine has warmed up. When the engine is not warmed up, the fan can only be turned on using the buttons and hi.

If the engine overheats, the compressor may automatically shut off.

At high humidity and ambient temperatures, condensation dripping from the evaporator under the vehicle is not a sign of a malfunction.

If there is a fault in the air conditioner cooling circuit, a protective device is triggered, which switches off the air conditioner.
