Blowers
The supply of normal, heated or cooled air to the passenger compartment is carried out through blowers.
The air distribution is regulated by the rotary knob 3 - see figure.
Blowers 3 and 4 are opened and closed separately using handwheels located next to the blower grilles.
The vertical or horizontal direction of the flows is regulated by built-in dampers with handles to change their position.
Governing bodies
1 - Air intake fan switch
The air flow is regulated by 4 switch positions. Pregnant "0" - the air supply is interrupted.
2 - Air temperature switch
The supply air temperature is adjusted by turning the switch clockwise. To the right - the temperature increases, to the left - decreases.
3 - Air distribution switch - direction of air flow to the leg area
Open blowers 5. It is advisable to close blowers 3-4.

In this position of the regulator, air enters through blowers 3 and 4 and in a small amount through blower 5.
4 - Air conditioner switch (A/C)
When the air conditioner is turned on, the control lamp built into the switch lights up at the same time.
5 - air circulation mode switch (REC)
The circulating air mode is activated when the air conditioner is running. In this mode, the air flow from the outside stops and only the air inside the car starts to circulate.
Heating, defrosting windshield and side windows
Switch 1 turn to position III.
Switch 2 - clockwise all the way to the right.
Switch 3 - set to symbol - Close blowers 4.
Direction of additional flows of warm air through the blowers 3 adjust the dampers towards the side windows.
Constant blowing of the windshield and side windows with warm air (drying, anti-fogging)
If the windows fog up due to high air humidity, for example during rain, the following procedure for regulating air flows is recommended:
Switch 1 turn to position II or III.
Set the temperature switch, if necessary, to the maximum level.
Blowers 4 - close.
The best way to quickly heat the interior
Switch 1 - to position III.
Switch 3 - per symbol -
Switch temperature - all the way to the right. Blowers 3 and 4 - open.
Maintaining a constant comfortable temperature in the cabin
After the windows are dried and the required temperature is set in the cabin, the following regulation procedure is recommended:
Switch 1 - to position II or III.
Temperature switch 2 - to the desired temperature setting.
Switch 3 - per character -
Blowers 3 and 4 adjust as you wish.
Forced ventilation (fresh air supply)
The temperature of the air entering the passenger compartment through blowers 3-4 is regulated by the temperature mode switch 2. Depending on the position of the regulator, it can be normal, warm or cold.
When switch 3 is set to the symbol - , air will be blown with maximum intensity.
Air cooling
The fastest way to lower the temperature in the cabin:
Close all windows and pop-up/tilt vent.
By pressing buttons 4 and 5 turn on the air conditioner in the mode of circulation of internal air in the passenger compartment.
Switch temperature 2 - all the way to the left.
Switch 1 - to position IIII.
Knob 3 - per character -
Blowers 3 and 4 open and adjust as you wish.
In this case, at least one of them was constantly open, otherwise icing of the cooling device is possible.
The usual way to lower the interior temperature
Press the switches 4 or 4-5, the control lamps built into them should light up.
Regulator 2 - select the appropriate temperature regime.
Switch 1 set at your discretion to any position from I to IIII. Rotary knob 3 - to any position at will. Open and adjust the flow direction of blowers 3 and 4.
At the same time, at least one of them must also be permanently open, otherwise the cooling device may become iced up.
General recommendations
For normal operation of the interior heating and ventilation systems, make sure that the air intake cavities located in front of the windshield are not covered with snow, covered with leaves or covered with ice.
The air blower must run at low speed.
To prevent the penetration of polluted outside air into the passenger compartment, set switch a to position - 0. At the same time, keep in mind the long-term blocking of air access causes fogging of the windows, which should be avoided.
The heating intensity of the saline depends on the temperature of the coolant. This means that the maximum temperature can only be reached when the engine is well warmed up.
Rotary controls B and C can be set to any intermediate position.
The used air is blown out of the passenger compartment through the ventilation slots located in the center in front of the rear window. Make sure that they are not covered by transported items.
Air conditioner care tips
Remember! The air conditioner turns on automatically only when the air temperature is about +5°C. At lower temperatures, its use is simply impractical.
The air conditioner reduces not only the temperature, but also the humidity in the cabin, prevents the windows from fogging up. If the temperature falls too low, when it becomes cool, the temperature regime is equalized by turning the knob 2 to the right.
While the air conditioner is operating, all windows and the ventilation hatch must be closed.
If the interior of a stationary car has become very warm under the influence of a high external temperature, all doors and windows should be opened for a while before the start of a wobble so that the hot air is vented out.
Note! Condensed water is discharged from the air conditioner to the outside. Therefore, in the parking lot of the car under it, a puddle may form. This is normal and not a sign of poor body sealing.
The air conditioner must be regularly checked and cleaned of accumulated dirt. It is best to rinse with water.
Under extreme loads on the engine, when the coolant is very hot, the air conditioner may automatically turn off for a while.
With the installation of an air conditioner, the weight of which is about 40 kg, the mass of an unloaded car increases accordingly. See section "Specifications". If the air conditioner does not work, the reason may be one of two:
- external air temperature below + 5°С
- the fuse has blown. Check, if necessary, replace.
In case of other damage, for example, after an accident, or it is depressurized, turn it off immediately and do not turn it on again. Requires special maintenance.
