Power steering pump (5-cylinder engine)

- 1 - bolt;
- 2 - front bracket on the pump;
- 3 - bracket;
- 4 - rear bracket on the pump;
- 5 - supply hose;
- 6 - drain hose;
- 7 - liquid supply hose to the receiver;
- 8, 10 - nuts;
- 9 - adjusting bolt;

Power steering pump (4-cylinder engine)

- 1 - adjusting washer;
- 2 - outer half of the pulley;
- 3 - belt;
- 4 - inner half of the pulley;
- 5 - front bracket;
- 6 - pump;
- 7 - drain hose;
- 8 - supply hose;
- 9 - rear bracket;
- 10 - bar;
- 11 - liquid supply hose to the receiver
Removal
1. Remove the pump drive belt.
2. Mark the hoses, for example with adhesive tape. Unscrew the supply mounting bolts and disconnect the hoses from the pump, removing the sealing rings (they are definitely replaced).
3. Remove the adjusting bolt and the adjusting bar bolt.
4. Unscrew the nut, remove the bolt and remove the pump from the bracket.
Installation
1. Install the pump on the bracket, insert the bolt and tighten the mounting nut without tightening it.
2. Connect the hoses with the tips to the pump in accordance with the previously made marking and tighten the supply bolts, having previously installed new sealing rings. Tighten the supply bolts with the appropriate torque. Make sure that the hoses are not twisted.
3. Install and tension the drive belt (see subsection 9.10).
4. Bleed the hydraulic steering system (see subsection 9.9).
