Withdrawal
1. Apply the handbrake, raise the front of the vehicle and install the safety props
2. Turn away screws of fastening and remove the bottom protective casing of the power unit from under the car.
3. Move the front panel of the body to the position "maintenance", as described in chapter 11.
4. As described in the appropriate part of chapter 2, remove the drive belt.
5. Remove the coolant pump pulley. as described in chapter 3.
6. Clamp both pump hoses with a clamp to minimize fluid spillage.
7. Wipe area around tubing and hose connections.
8. Label the tubes to avoid confusion during installation. Loosen the supply tube connection bolt. Be prepared to spill liquid - substitute suitable utensils. Disconnect the tube and remove the O-rings. Discard the rings - new ones are required for installation. Plug the openings to prevent liquid from spilling and dirt from getting in.
9. Release a collar of fastening of a returnable tube. Disconnect the tubes/hoses and plug the holes to prevent dirt from entering and liquid from spilling around.
10. Turn away bolts of fastening of the pump to an arm of fastening and remove the pump from the car.
11. A faulty pump cannot be repaired and must be replaced.
Installation
12. Before installation, the pump must be filled with liquid to ensure sufficient lubrication during the first moments. If this is not done, the pump will make noise and quickly fail. To do this, pour the prescribed type of fluid into the pump feed hole while rotating the pump pulley. As soon as liquid appears from the outlet, filling can be considered complete.
13. Install the pump in place and tighten the bolts of its fastening to the prescribed torque.
14. Replace the O-rings on the tube connection. Connect the tubing to the pump, remembering the pre-marked marks. Reinforce the tube and tighten the bolt.
15. Connect the hose and secure with a clamp. Remove clamps from hoses.
16. Install the pulley on the coolant pump as described in chapter 3.
17. Install the drive belt and tighten the seat as described in chapter 1.
18. Install the front body panel as described in chapter 11.
19. Establish the lower protective casing of the power unit and tighten screws.
20. Finally, add fluid to the system and bleed it as described in paragraph 19.
