Although the location of the adjustment bolts is the same on all headlights, the adjustment methods differ.
Location of headlight adjustment bolts
If a Bosch headlight is installed, bolt (1) is used for right-left adjustment, and bolt (2) is used for up-down adjustment.
If a Valeo headlight is installed, bolt (1) is used for height adjustment, and bolt (2) is used for horizontal adjustment.

The headlight adjustment should be done with a special adjustment device, and only in extreme cases should you try to adjust or change the adjustment. To adjust, the car should be placed at a right angle to the wall or garage door and the headlights should be turned on. The distance to the wall should be about 5 meters.
If there is a headlight tilt adjustment, you need to set the regulator to the "O" position. In most cases, adjusting only one headlight is not enough, i.e. you need to transfer the lighting pattern of the "good" headlight to the other headlight. After self-adjustment, you should visit the workshop at the first opportunity for more precise adjustment.
Recommendation
Assuming the car is stored in a garage (i.e. there is a garage door) and the headlights are precisely adjusted (for example, in a workshop using precision instruments), you can park the car exactly 5 meters in front of the gate, turn on the high beam and mark the centers of the light beams of both headlights on the garage door with crosses. If you ever need to check the headlight adjustment, you can park the car in front of the garage door again to make sure that the centers of the light beams coincide with the crosses on the garage door. If this is not the case, you can make the adjustment. It should be noted that the adjustment bolts of headlights from different manufacturers work differently.
