When adjusting the headlights, the fog lights are also adjusted.
Screws are used to adjust the headlights (see fig. 14.50).

Inner screw 1 (fig. 14.50) is designed to adjust the headlights in the vertical plane, and the outer screw 2 is for adjustment in the horizontal plane.
When adjusting the headlights, the following conditions must be met:
- tire pressure must be within normal limits;
- only the driver should be in the car;
- the fuel in the fuel tank should be more than 90%;
- the car must stand on its wheels on a flat horizontal surface,
- before adjusting, it is necessary to rock the car body so that all suspension elements fall into place;
- set the headlight corrector to position 0;
- adjustment is made only for the low beam headlights. The inclination of the light flux of the headlights is 10 cm at a distance of 10 m, i.e. 1%;
- the angle of the light beam of the fog lights is 20 cm at a distance of 10 m.
If necessary, you can adjust the headlights yourself. Headlight adjustment is performed with the low beam on in the dark. Place the car on a flat horizontal surface so that the front of the car is 5 m from a vertical wall or screen, and adjust the headlights in accordance with the diagram (see fig. 14.51).
