Rear reading light.

Using a thin screwdriver blade, pry the light fixture out from the panel.

Replace the faulty light bulb.
Connect the electrical connectors to the light fixture and install it in place.

Insert a thin screwdriver blade into the groove of the lamp, press against the action of the locking spring, carefully pry the lamp up and pull it out (see fig. 14.43).

Note. If there is no groove in the lamp, place the blade of the screwdriver in the middle of one of the ends and check whether it can be used further against the spring force. Otherwise, place the screwdriver from the other end of the lamp.




Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the light.

Replace the faulty light bulb.

If the lamp mounting spring is deformed, bend it towards the outside of the lamp.

Connect the electrical connector.

Install the light fitting on the electrical connector side, tilt it into the hole and snap the latch into place.
