Using your fingers, gently press on the lampshade 2 (fig. 14.41) up and remove it.

Using your fingers, gently press on the lampshade 2 (fig. 14.41) up and remove it.


To remove the case 1 (fig. 14.41), pry it up with a thin screwdriver blade, pull it out from the panel and disconnect electrical connectors 4 and 5. Figure 14.41 shows the front interior lighting lamp. Replacing the lamps, removing and installing the rear interior lighting lamp is done in a similar manner.

Pull out the lamp 3 (fig. 14.41) from spring contacts/holders.

Install the new bulb and check that it is firmly held by the contacts/holders. If the contacts/holders of the bulb are loose or deformed, bend them.
