Remove the interior trim of the trunk.
Turn the socket with the incandescent lamp 1 (fig. 14.37) clockwise and remove it from the housing.
Press and in this position turn the lamp counterclockwise by 90° and remove it from the socket.
Insert the new bulb into the socket, press and in this position turn it 90° clockwise until it locks into place in the socket.
Install the socket with the lamp into the housing and, turning it counterclockwise, fix it.
Install the trunk interior trim.
Close the trunk lid/tailgate.
