Limousine
An additional brake light is installed at the base of the rear window.
Open the trunk lid. From the bottom of the rear shelf, pull the lamp holder out of the clips (see fig. 14.39).
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the bulb holder.
Replace the faulty lamp.
Connect the electrical connector to the lamp holder.
Place the lamp holder in place until it locks into place.
AVANT
The additional brake light is located at the top of the rear door. If there are any faults, the additional brake light lamp must be replaced completely.
Using a thin screwdriver blade, remove the plugs 2 (fig. 14.40) closing screws for fastening the additional brake light.
Remove two screws.
Remove the additional brake light lamp, while pressing the fasteners 4 (fig. 14.40) located in the middle part of the lamp.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the light fixture.
Connect the electrical connector to the new light, install it in place and screw it in place. Install the plugs that cover the screws.
