Warning: The additional brake light contains LEDs. If the LEDs are damaged, the brake light must be replaced as a set.
Sedan
Warning: The additional brake light is accessible from the trunk through a cutout in the small luggage compartment shelf.
Removal
1. Open the trunk.
2. Disconnect the connector (1) of the additional brake light (2).

3. Move the retaining clips away and pull the additional brake light downwards.
Installation
1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Station wagon
Removal
1. Remove the upper trim of the tailgate, refer to Section Removal and installation the front bumper.
2. Insert a screwdriver (1) through the hole intended for the electrical wire of the additional brake light.

3. Release the locking bar (2) by pressing it firmly.
4. Pull out the additional brake light (2) using pull-out hooks, e.g. AUDI 3370 or HAZET 2520-1. Place the hooks on the right side of the brake light.

5. Disconnect the connector (1) of the additional brake light (2).
6. Remove the five retaining clips from the tailgate.
Installation
1. Install the retaining clips on the additional brake light, making sure they are in the correct position.
2. Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. In this case, the locking brackets must enter the locking rail.
