Note: When performing all work on the KE-III-Jetronic injection system, you must remember that high pressure is present in the fuel supply system even long after the engine has been switched off. Therefore, when disconnecting the fuel line, you should always have a rag at hand to prevent gasoline from getting into your eyes.
Left: Plug connection at the rear wall of the engine compartment in a 4-cylinder engine. The numbers indicate:
1 - plug connection to the knock sensor;
2 - plug connection for heating the λ-probe;
3 — plug connection for λ-probe signal.
Right: In a 5-cylinder engine, the plug connections to the λ probe are located on the left side of the cylinder head. The numbers indicate:
1 - plug connection for heating the λ-probe;
2 - plug connection for λ-probe signal.
