If you want to recognize incorrect steering alignment while driving, you must first ensure certain conditions, namely that both front wheels have the same tire grade, profile depth and prescribed pressure.
Are the steering wheel spokes symmetrical when driving in a straight line? A slant steering wheel is often a sign of improper toe adjustment.
Unstable rectilinear movement; recognized on a snowy or icy road.
Does the vehicle pull sideways on a completely level road with the steering wheel released?
Does the steering wheel return to the straight position on its own after cornering?
Look at the front wheels from a distance of five to ten meters - are they in a straight position symmetrically with respect to each other?
Has the tire worn on one side? It is, however, not uncommon for the outer edges of the tires to wear more than the inner edges when driving hard.
A disc with dents indicates hard contact with the curb, as a result of which the ratio of the steering angles of the steered wheels can easily go astray.
