Shock absorbers usually do not fail unexpectedly, their effect gradually decreases, to which, usually, you get used to it unnoticeably. The general rule is: after replacing two worn tires, the shock absorbers are already worn out by 50% of their original condition, i.e., it is time to change them. Using the "rocking" method, when the car is rocked by a certain wing and then released sharply - the springy movement should immediately die out - does not give a real picture of the condition of the shock absorber. A more accurate conclusion can be made after special bench tests. Using the diagram, you can determine the performance of the shock absorber.
